Starry sky of the Himalayas over Mount Everest (left), Mount Lhotse, Ama Dablam (right), and a stupa on the main trek to the Everest base camp. Bright star Capella in constellation Auriga is above Everest. The constellations Perseus and Andromeda are higher up. The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is the small elongated halo in the middle top. Light of Tengboche appears at the bottom; an important Buddhist monastery in Nepal located at altitude of 3,867 meters (12,687 ft).
