Constellations above Mount Everest (left); Mount Lhotse; Ama Dablam (right); and a stupa on the main trek to the Everest base camp. Bright star Capella in the constellation Auriga is above Everest. The constellation Perseus stands higher. Light of Tengboche appears at the bottom; an important Buddhist monastery located at altitude of 3; 867 meters (12; 687 ft).
