Moon and Earthshine from ALMA - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
Telephoto view of the ALMA radio telescopes, 5000 meters high on Andes, and the crescent moon and its earthshine (the night side of the moon faintly lit by the Earth). Located in northern Chile and organized internationally, ALMA is one of the world's highest and most complex observatories with an array of 66 giant dishes.
