Twisted Meteor Path Over Kilimanjaro - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
A twisted meteor path, the actual aerodynamic zig-zag flight path of the meteor, due to the shape of the meteoroid, as it spins and spirals through the atmosphere. In the sky are the Magellanic Clouds hanging in a moonlight night of southern Kenya. The main two peaks of Kilimanjaro (in Tanzania) appear from Amboseli National Park. The main peak is Kibo that reaches 5,895 m (19,341 ft). The smaller peak is Mawenzi at 5,149 m (16,893 ft) and meaning the moon in Swahili.
