Spectacular view of the Milky Way, towards the galactic center, rising above the Australia's most recognizable landform in silhouette. The Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park; a World Heritage Site in the Northern Territory is best known for Uluru or the Ayers Rock, a sacred site of aboriginal culture. About 3.6 km long, the rock is an inselberg or island mountain in geology. It extends about 5 km beneath the desert and rises 348 meters above the plain. Bright star Antares at the heart of celestial Scorpion and planet Saturn appear high in the sky.
