A time-exposure image in a clear winter night of Alborz Mountains in Iran, has captured star trails above Haraz Valley and Mount Damavand, a spectacular live volcano (5670m) which is the highest peak in the Middle East, about 70km away from Tehran. Damavand has been a legendary and sacred mountain in the Persian culture.
