The Mount Wilson Observatory near Los Angeles. Planet Jupiter in the constellation Taurus (next to Hyades star cluster) appears over the 60 inch telescope which received its "First light" on December 8, 1908 when it was the world's largest operational telescope. Mt Wilson is one of the most productive and successful observatories in astronomical history.
