Southern Cross & Carina Nebula Above ALMA - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
The southern Milky Way above ALMA radio telescopes, an array of 66 radio telescopes located at 5000 meters high in the Chilean Altiplano. Along the Milky Way are the Carina Nebula and the Southern Cross (Crux) next to the Coalsack dark nebula (top).
