The Milky Way in the constellation Sagittarius is photographed from Roque de los Muchachos (The Rock of the Boys in English). The iconic basalt rocks are a landmark located 2423 meters high at the very top of La Palma, Canary Islands. Lower in the evening sky is planet Venus, the second brightest object in the night sky after the moon.
