Southern stars are photographed in the night sky of Atacama Desert, Chile. In this telephoto panoramic image from left to right are: Bright stars Alpha and Beta Centauri, along the southern Milky Way band, the Southern Cross (constellation Crux) and the Coalsack dark nebula, and the Great Carina Nebula.
