Nightscape photographer Christoph Malin enjoys the starry sky of La Palma, Canary Islands. In the sky are the rising moon and Orion constellation. The large faint nebula known as the Barnard's Loop (lower frame) is also visible. The nebulae within the Loop are the Great Orion Nebula (M42), the Flame Nebula, and the Horsehead Nebula. The image is made during Astromaster La Palma, an annual international workshop on night sky photography.
