King by the Moonlight - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
Moonlight on the tomb of Darius II, a Persian king of Achaemenid empire in about 2500 years ago. Below the tomb is a stone relief of another Persian ancient era, Sassanid Kingdom, depicts the king (Bahram II) battling a mounted Roman leader. The site is located in Naqsh-e Rostam, near Persepolis, southern Iran. In the sky stars of the constellation Cygnus, the Swan, appear over the cliff. On the left is the bright star Vega.
