A widefield nightscape photo of the constellation Orion above the moonlit landscape of Zagros Mountains in Iran reveals the great Orion nebula as just a small glow, similar to what unaided eyes can resolve. In contrast the nebula covers the whole field of view of a telescope for a deep sky photographer. The deep sky nebula image is from the Hubble Space Telescope (Heritage project).
