One of the natural wonders of planet Earth, the Grand Canyon in the American southwest, appears under starry sky. Made with an astronomically modified camera the image shows much more than visible to human eyes at this dark night. Above the bright star Deneb (at the tail of Cygnus, the Swan) the North America red emission nebula is visible. Below it, right at the horizon, another extensive nebula is visible: IC 1318, also known as the Sadr region, name after Sadr or Gamma Cygni, the star in the middle of the nebula.
