Skygazing From Austrian Alps - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
Starry Sky of Austrian Alps as photographed from Ferien Observatory in Emberger Alm, Carinthia. Above this roll-off observatory and the amateur astronomers the Milky Way is captured from star Sirius (left) to Orion, Taurus, and Perseus. The large cone-shape light elongated upward from the western horizon is the zodiacal light; sunlight reflection from dust particles in the Solar System plane.
