This long-exposure image of the Milky Way in the constellation Sagittarius resolves many deep sky objects and dark clouds floating in an ocean of stars. The prominent Lagoon Nebula or M8 is at the lower right. The much smaller Trifid nebula or M20 is located right above it. Higher up in the center of the image is M24 Star Cloud. The Swan Nebula M17 is above it and M16 or the Eagle Nebula is a bit higher.
