In a starry night of central Iran desert, planet Saturn (the brightest in the field) is photographed during its opposition or the closest distance from the Earth (and its brightest time). Saturn is images in the constellation Leo or Lion. Th second brightest point is Regulus, the Alpha star of Leo. Note the small pale green elongated halo below Regulus which is the comet Lulin, during its visit to the inner solar system in February 2009.
