Holmes and Snowfilled valley - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
A clear winter night in Alborz Mountains of Iran. Stars from left to right represent the constellations Cassiopeia, Perseus and Taurus (the Bull) with the prominent Pleiades or Seven Sister star cluster. The little cloud in the middle of the image is Comet Holmes after the fall 2007 surprising eruption.
