The motion of sky, during several hours, appears as star trails above the historic caravansary of Bahram Palace in Kavir National Park, the Great Salt Desert (Dasht-e Kavir), Iran. The brightest trail is planet Mars. A caravansary was a roadside inn, a place for travelers to rest and recover from the day's journey.
