Spectacular view of the Milky Way in the fading twilight, above the Australia's most recognizable landform. The Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park; a World Heritage Site in the Northern Territory is best known for Uluru or the Ayers Rock, a sacred site of aboriginal culture. About 3.6 km long, the rock is an inselberg or island mountain in geology. It extends about 5 km beneath the desert and rises 348 meters above the plain. Towards the bright galactic center, bright star Antares appears at the heart of the celestial Scorpion. Planet Saturn appears next to it high in the sky.
