Licancabur Volcano at Night   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

Licancabur volcano at night. The view also shows a group of ice penitentes on a high-altitude plateau in the Andes mountains, Chile. They are a snow formation found at high altitudes. They take the form of tall thin blades of hardened snow, or ice, closely spaced with the blades oriented towards the general direction of the sun. Licancabur is a highly symmetrical stratovolcano on the southernmost part of the border between Chile and Bolivia.
