Beehive and Himalaya - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
In a moonlit night of the World Heritage Sagarmatha National Park of Nepal, spectacular view of Himalaya emerges under the starry sky. The scene was recorded in late November from altitude of 3600 meters near Tengboche monastery. On the left Lhotse, the world's 4th highest peak (8516 m), is visible while the outstanding Ama Dablam (6812 m) is at right, where the Beehive Star Cluster or M44 rises in the autumn sky.
