This multi-exposure image started at dawn with a 6-minute gap between each exposure (all with a fixed setting). At sunrise hundreds of seabirds fly from their nesting place in the islands near Rio de Janeiro to inland and the city's seashore. They are captured in the last single exposure of this sequence. In the foreground, above Atlantic coastline at the famous Ipanema beach, the favela Vidigal nestled below the iconic twin peaks of Morro Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers Hill).
