Mist and Mountains under Moonlight - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
When fog goes down in the World Heritage Sagarmatha National Park of Nepal, spectacular view of Himalayas appears under the starry sky. On the left ledge Lutse, the world's 4th highest mountain at 8516m, is visible. Ama Dablam (6812m) with its outstanding shape is to its right. Note the twin bright stars of Gemini just above it. On the right side Thamserku is the closest and largest mountain in the view (6623m) which sits down below the rising Orion. Sagarmatha National Park contains a magnificent part of Himalayas and the southern half of Mount Everest.
