The first quarter hides behind the Cochem castle. Appears on the dark part of the moon's disc is the Earthsine (the dark night side of the moon illuminated faintly by the Earth). Located at the banks of the Moselle river, and about 100 meters above the town of Cochem, Germany, the Imperial Castle of Cochem (Reichsburg) dates back to the 11th century or earlier.
