Etchmiadzin Cathedral in Armenia, one of the oldest churches in the world. A picture of the Persian king Shāh Abbās the Great (early 17th century) is engraved on the building for the good relation of the two nations against Ottoman empire. Etchmiadzin is a World Heritage Site and the most important cathedral to Armenians, was first built in 301-303 AD, when Armenia had just adopted Christianity. The church is located in the town of Vagharshapat.
