Caravansary Night - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
Night sky above a courtyard in the historic caravansary of Kharanaq near Yazd, Iran, reminding a tale of the One Thousand and One Nights. Sirius is near the center and constellation Orion is on the right. A caravansary was a roadside inn, a place for travelers to rest and recover from the day's journey. Caravanserais supported the trade routes covering Asia, North Africa, and South-Eastern Europe.
